From educational interaction, site trips to charity events, we endeavour to give back wherever we can and form a community that spans beyond just the PDM family.
In 2019, we started the Beryl Ann Maddocks Foundation as a way of giving back to the community.
In November 2019, we hosted a charity event where people to ran, jogged, walked (and in some cases dog walked!) 5k, in order to raise money for Children In Need. With over 70 participants from within the PDM family, we raised a whopping £1,500 for a much deserving cause.
We host visits from varying groups including schools and universities to the Young Farmers Club and Women’s Institute. We believe consumers deserve to know where produce comes from, how it’s grown and it’s journey from farm to plate.
